How long will my project take?

General basement remodel projects are completed in about eight weeks.

What hours will you work?

Generally Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. we will be working on site. We will work some weekends if that’s acceptable to the homeowner.

How much will my project cost?

A good average cost for a bedroom, bathroom, living room projects will be between $25,000 and $35,000.

What if I want changes along the way?

There are no “change order feeds” per ce. If changes are made before work on change items begins, there are no costs.

If work and materials have already been used, a change will include a reasonable cost for labor and materials.

Will the project cost more than estimated?

The project will not cost more than estimate and adjustments for for accessory items, unless additional services or items are requested after the project begins. Then, reasonable costs for those items will be applied. We are happy to give you those costs in advance before any additional request work is performed.

Will there be a cost for permits and inspections?

Costs for all permits and inspections are included in the estimate. We will pull all required permits and schedule all required inspections by the city.

What is the cost for accessory items?

Should your project require any of the items listed below, an allowance for that item will be included in the estimate. Should the actual item you select cost more, the extra cost will be added to your final bill. Should it cost less, it will be deducted.

This way, you can select all the exact items that will be used in your remodel and know all items and exact total costs of project before it begins.

What about flooring?

A base flooring cost will be included in the estimate. Our floor coverings are provided by Urban Flooring. You can make an appointment before the project starts and view samples of flooring that will be used.

How do payments work?

You will pay one-third of the cost after the walls are framed. The second one-third is due after rough electric/plumbing and sheet rock are installed. The final payment is due upon completion of the project.
